How is a processing facility or equipment installed?
Commissioning & Installation
Depending on the complexity of the equipment or processing system, ENSO Ingeniería’s technical team travels to the customer’s site to oversee installation and commissioning.
For a High-Quality Flour Processing Plant designed for roots and tubers (cassava, sweet potato, yam, green plantain, and green banana), the equipment is shipped in a configuration that simplifies installation. Under normal conditions, installation and commissioning can be completed in as little as 10 working days.
It is essential to have raw materials available on-site for initial production trials, equipment testing, calibration, and process optimization.
Civil works required at the installation site are not included as part of the equipment supply.
The installation site should typically provide:
- Propane gas piping or a suitable biomass fuel source
- Potable water supply
- Three-phase electrical power connections
- Local personnel to assist with equipment installation and assembly
How are processing equipment and processing plants shipped?
Shipping Plan
Domestic Shipments:
Equipment is transported by ground freight. When required, the equipment is packed in custom-built wooden crates for added protection during transit.
International Shipments:
Depending on the size and quantity of the equipment, export-certified wooden crates are used for packaging. Complete processing plants are typically shipped in a 40-foot High Cube (HC) shipping container, with the applicable Incoterms® determined during the commercial negotiation process.
What warranty coverage do we offer?
After-Sales Support – Warranty
We provide a limited warranty covering manufacturing and workmanship defects. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper operation, misuse, or exposure to conditions outside the recommended operating parameters and is subject to technical inspection.
Warranty terms vary depending on the specific equipment or processing system.
Quality Assurance
Each delivery includes certificates of conformity for the primary materials and components used in manufacturing. Equipment is also supplied with the corresponding operation and maintenance manual.
Spare Parts
Equipment is delivered with a set of essential spare parts for components that are subject to normal operational wear.
Performance Bonds
Upon contract execution and at the client’s request, the responsible company can issue performance bonds through a recognized insurance provider.
